About Mike

Soon after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell College and his master’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Business and Public Administration, he entered the financial services business.

That was in 1998, during the boom before the tech bubble burst. At that time, the industry was focused on products and returns, but Mike was more interested in helping families with comprehensive financial planning and teaching other advisors to do the same.
Later that year, his path intersected with Al’s.

He is licensed for life insurance, health insurance, and variable annuities in Minnesota and holds the following securities registrations: Series 24, 7, 65, and 63. Mike also serves as the Branch Office Manager, providing compliance support and oversight for the operation.
